Description
The 46th European Ceramic Market of the city of Höhr-Grenzhausen will take place on June 6 and 7. In an approximately 500-meter-long market area, everything that embodies the diversity of ceramics will be showcased. A jury selected 134 exhibitors from 8 countries. A total of around 200 applications were submitted. The ceramic market is an important industry gathering for the contemporary ceramics scene. The Westerwald Ceramic Museum - located right in the market area - is already working on how visitors can best experience the diversity of ceramics. The accompanying competition exhibition "The Jug" of the museum will open on Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m. immediately after the market ends, and the award winners will be announced. The 6th "Open German Pottery Championship" will also take place again on both days. The guest country in 2026 will be Sweden, which will present six ceramic artists. On Saturday evening at 8 p.m., the Big Band Boden will perform as part of the Naspa Open-Air at Laigueglia Square. With free entry, you can enjoy music ranging from pop, rock, funk, R'n'B, and soul and get the audience dancing on tables and benches! It's time to party!
