Description
For over 25 years, the ceramic festival "Höhr-Grenzhausen burns ceramics" has been held to kick off the tourist season, featuring a special theme that highlights the ceramic studios. So come to the Center of European Ceramics and be surprised! You can watch, ask questions, and be inspired by the variety of different offerings and the countless possibilities to work with the raw material clay. Contemporary art, forward-thinking innovation, and centuries-old tradition: Höhr-Grenzhausen impressively showcases its ceramic competence. In the beautifully arranged workshops, galleries, and shops, you will find your handcrafted favorite pieces - individual functional ceramics, mostly created on the potter's wheel, jewelry, artistic unique pieces, or the "Höhrer stool" for your garden – the ceramists will set their tables for you with everything they have to offer. As a starting and ending point, a visit to the Westerwald Ceramic Museum is worthwhile, which also offers a lot with free admission.
