Brief description
The "Old Customs House" of Grenzau has reopened its almost four hundred year old oak door after months of renovation, so that everyone who is well-disposed towards the venerable house can enter over the well-worn stone threshold and experience the new splendour and old charm of the beautiful old Franconian half-timbered house from the inside.

Our culinary credo is a seasonal country house cuisine preferably with products from the region, some of them also produced according to the principles of organic farming. Our suppliers are fully behind our concept and we are happy to work with them. We offer hot meals throughout, you finden in the afternoon also coffee and cake and homemade ice cream. We offer outdoor catering in front of and next to the inn, indoor catering in the Old Tavern to the Brex, in the Castle Room, in the rediscovered Castle Cellar and in the Old Dance Hall on the upper floor with many indoor seats and unique possibilities for private and company celebrations.
